Baruch"; Norman Cousins' Albert Schweitzer's Mission Healing and Peace signed "To Sid and Florence - with deepest affection, Norman Christmas 1985"; Irving Stone's The Agony and the Ecstasy inscribed by Stone and dated June 1969: "For Florence and Sid: neighbors, friends, fellow artists, lovely people"; Frank E. Vandiver's Mighty Stonewall with a note to Caesar dated "N.Y. 5/13/57" and reading in part, "[H]ere is a man that didn't believe in trends either, thus improving and creating new methods he goes down in history as one of the great in his field"; and Fleur Cowles' Bloody Precedent inscribed "To the immensely talented Sid Caesar/ Fleur Cowles/ June 9 1952."
