French, 19th century. Louis XVI style settee or loveseat with carved wood frame decorated with leaved swags, floral medallion and patterned banding. Settee with floral tapestry fabric upholstery on serpentine back , seat and arm rests. Wooden arm rests with scrolled detail. Loveseat raised on eight legs with footed urn forms above paneled tapered legs. Accompanied with two square throw pillows with matching fabric upholstery. Height 36.75 inches, width (across arms) 61 inches, depth 17.25 inches. Seat to floor 17.5 inches. Provenance: From the Estate of Mr. Thomas V. and Mrs. Marie B. Patton, Atlanta, Georgia.
