A Slash played Gibson Les Paul Custom electric guitar, serial number 8 8005. The guitar, given to Slash by Gibson for endorsement purposes in 1988, was played by Slash on tour from 1988 to 1993. Pickguard absent, Alnico II Pro pickups, single cutaway, trapezoid inlays. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity dated January 15, 2000, from Shelley Krueger, former Guns N‘ Roses business manager, who states this guitar was owned and played by Slash, and a brown hardshell case.
