A complete set of Beatles self-signed forgeries. These forgeries occurred when one member of the band was responding to fan mail apart from his other three band members. The set consisting of four notes and cut sheets where the first Beatle signer was the signer of the remaining three signatures. John Lennon's handwritten note reads "Love to Beryl from The Beatles John Lennon"; he then goes on to try to copy the signatures of his bandmates. Paul McCartney's handwritten letter reads "Dear Stella, Thanks for the letter and I hope the clover brings us luck! Ta love from The Beatles Paul McCartney xxx" and then he attempts to write the signatures of his bandmates. Ringo Starr's handwritten note reads "Love from The Beatles Ringo Starr xxx" and then forges the signatures of his bandmates. George Harrison's signature appears on a cut sheet where he too has forged the signatures of his bandmates. All circa 1964. Please note that this item is currently touring in the GRAMMY Museum ® exhibition " Ladies and Gentlemen ... The Beatles !" and will not be available to the winning bidder until late 2016 .
