A baseball signed by The Beatles on August 15, 1966. The ball is the second of three signed that evening at DC Stadium for the Senators' equipment manager, Fred Baster. The ball is a Reach Official American League ball (Cronin), signed by George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr in blue ink. The ball is housed in a velvet-lined wood box that is affixed with an engraved plaque that reads “Beatles 66’/ # 2.” Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Perry Cox and a letter of authenticity from Fred Baster’s daughter.
