A Beretta 85 pistol used by James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano in the award-winning series The Sopranos (1999-2007). Gandolfini can be seen firing the weapon in “I Dream of Jeannie Cusamano” (Season 1, Episode 13) when Tony surprises Chucky Signore on the docks of the Liberty Landing Marina, pulls the Beretta out of the mouth of a large fish he is carrying, and shoots Chucky to death on the deck of his boat. Tony and Silvio Dante then take the boat out to deep waters to dispose of the corpse, erasing evidence of their involvement in the “preemptive strike” against a high-ranking soldier loyal to Tony’s Uncle Junior, who Tony fears may be planning to organize another hit against him after an earlier failed attempt. The gun has been modified to fire blank rounds only. Weapons Specialists Ltd. leased the firearm directly to the production company for use in the series. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, production rental paperwork, and a copy of the episode.
