A Sig Sauer P228 pistol with an imitation silencer barrel attachment was used by Tony Sirico as “Paulie Walnuts” Gualtieri in the award-winning series The Sopranos (1999-2007). Sirico can be seen firing the weapon in “A Hit Is A Hit” (Season 1, Episode 10) when Paulie and other members of the Sopranos crew dress up as movers in order to ambush and kill a drug cartel bagman and steal his money. After threatening the man at gunpoint, Paulie shoots him in the head at point blank range and leaves his body as a warning to his other associates to stay out of New Jersey. The gun has been modified to fire blank rounds only. Weapons Specialists Ltd. leased the firearm directly to the production company for use in the series. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, production rental paperwork, and a copy of the episode. This firearm must be registered in accordance with state and federal laws through Little John’s Auction Service, 1740 W. La Veta, Orange, CA 92868.
