A navy blue wool jacket worn by Paul Newman as Ben Quick in The Long , Hot Summer (20th Century, 1958). The double-breasted jacket has two flap pockets, a slit breast pocket, notched lapel, and six gold metal buttons. A Western Costume Co. label typed “2299-1 Paul Newman 41” and inscribed “VIC” is present. The jacket was worn by Newman in the scene at the church bazaar with an unwilling Joanne Woodward. Post-production alterations are present. Costume design by Adele Palmer. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a copy of the film. Categories:
