A suede and cotton tunic worn by Victor Mature as Horemheb in the motion picture The Egyptian (20th Century, 1954) starring Jean Simmons and Gene Tierney. This Nordic style tunic is constructed of beige leather and suede with beige leather cording at the sides with silver metal scale ornamentation on the front and back. An internal typed Western Costume label reads “57-2919-1, V. Mature, double, chest 45, chg #5.” Wardrobe director for the film was Charles Le Maire. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a copy of the film. Categories:
