A period frock coat worn by Rock Hudson as Capt. Jeffrey Claybourne in the motion picture Bengal Brigade (Universal, 1954). The coat is constructed of cream wool with self-covered cloth buttons on the front, back and flap pockets at the waist. Internal Western Costume Company label with “Rock Hudson” typed in black ink and "P.A Suit 2 piece double" stamped in black ink. Hudson wore the coat in several key scenes shared with the character Latah (played by Vivien Morrow). Hudson also wore the coat in promotional images and production stills from the film. Costume design by Jay A. Morley Jr. Post-production alterations are present. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the costume house. Categories: Rock Hudson
