A grey jacket attributed to Laurence Olivier in his role as George Hurstwood in Carrie (Paramount, 1952). The charcoal grey wool jacket has two flap pockets, five buttons, and a faille satin collar. An internal Acuna label is inscribed “Laurence Olivier 8-15-50” and “#16.” Post-production alterations are present. The jacket is believed to have been worn by Olivier in several scenes, including when he first meets Jennifer Jones at a restaurant. Costume design by Edith Head.
