A silver sparkle Ludwig drum kit used by Ringo Starr on his first All Starr band tour in 1989. The premiere incarnation of the "All Starr" band included Clarence Clemmons, Rick Danko, Levon Helm, Dr. John, Jim Keltner, Nils Lofgren, Billy Preston, and Joe Walsh along with many special guests throughout the tour. The All-Starr's toured throughout the United States, Canada, and Japan on their five month tour. The kit is composed of 9-ply 6mm maple shells and includes: 5" x 14" Snare; model: Supraphonic; 10-lug; serial number 3202291 9" x 13" Tom; 6-lug; serial number 3116414 10" x 14" Tom; 6-lug; serial number 3204863 16" x 16" Floor Tom; 8-lug; serial number 3205668; 16" x 22" Bass Drum; 10-lug; serial number 3206540; Note: this bass frum came from Ludwig with four legs, two front and two rear. The rear legs were removed for Starr, and never used on tour. Cymbals and Stands: 20” Zildjian A Medium Ride cymbal with Ludwig boom cymbal stand 14” Zildjian New Beat hi hat cymbals with Ludwig hi hat stand 16” Zildjian A Thin Crash cymbal with stand 18” Ludwig Custom Dark Crash cymbal with Ludwig stand Note: The cymbals were owned by Starr, however they are not original to this kit.
