An acoustic guitar gifted by Buck Owens to Ringo Starr. The guitar, model number 319. 12190 100, has a finish of red, white and blue stripes and is additionally stamped on the interior “F-71-WS/ Made in the U.S.A.” The blue headstock reads “Buck Owens American” with three white stars. The gold tone pickguard is inscribed “To My Friend,/ Ringo/ All we had to do was/ Act Naturally/ Your Friend, Buck Owens/ March 27, 1989.” On that date Owens and Starr recorded a version of "Act Naturally" at Abbey Road Studios. In 1963 Owens version of the song was his first number one hit on the country charts, and in 1965 Starr recorded the song for the Beatles album Help . Accompanied by a black hardshell case.
