A petal pink satin Emanuel gown worn by Joan Collins in her 1988 portrait by John Swannell that was exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in the U. K. The gown has a fitted bodice embellished with organza and satin flowers and leaves and a full skirt. An Emanuel Special label is present. David and Elizabeth Emanuel famously designed Princess Diana's wedding dress in 1981. The gown was exhibited at The Victoria and Albert Museum in London during the "Ballgowns: British Glamour Since 1950" exhibit. Accompanied by a tulle petticoat.
