SHARK TOOF SEVEN SHARK SHOW, 2013 Acrylic, aerosol, and decoupage on canvas 50 by 48 inches "Seven Shark Show" calls on us to consider our role in life as predators. The viewer ultimately identifies with the action of the painting and comes to the realization that we are the sharks. Nature, spiritual energy, and gender roles are other themes explored in the composition. As is often the case with great works of art, the canvas acts as a mirror. "Seven Shark Show" was recently exhibited alongside works by acclaimed photographer and scientist Alessandro De Maddalena at the Everhart Museum in Pennsylvania. Shark Toof was invited back earlier this year for a second exhibition at the Chinese American Museum, where he is also included in their permanent collection. Shark Toof’s murals are highly sought after by tech clients such as Samsung and Apple, and have achieved worldwide recognition through commercial media. Signed and dated to the verso.
