An Elvis Presley scarf gifted to his nurse, Letetia Henley Kirk, in 1974. In the accompanying letter of authenticity, Kirk recounts that Presley came home from a night at his racquet club wearing a warm-up suit and this dark blue scarf. Presley joked that he could make animal figures out of the scarf the same way a man on television that night was making balloon animals. When Letetia went to leave for the evening, Presley tied the scarf around her head and said “go home dressed like Dodger,” referring to his grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley, Vernon Presley’s mother. Housed in a frame with an image of Presley. Not examined outside of frame. 18 1/2 by 22 inches, overall PROVENANCE From the Collection of Letetia Henley Kirk Categories: Elvis Presley
