Late 20th century. Sculpture of a contorted seated muscular figure with head tilted and arms extended up in shiny brown resin seated on a grey-grey-black stone base atop a black rectangular plinth. Metal plaque on plinth reads "Divine Denial" with hand engraved "Cowles April 1980". Further inscribed on front of black plinth "Cowles 4/1/80". Height 23 inches, length 29 inches, depth 11 inches.
