Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from renowned pencil artist Lee Tompkins who was personally given the drawing on August 17, 1981at the Helmsley Palace Hotel in New York City. Jackson and Tompkins were known to draw together when Jackson was in New York City – Tompkins may have informally provided lessons and influenced Jackson’s drawing style.
