Russian silver and cloisonne enamel egg. Marked for "84" standard, and with marks for maker Feodor Ruckert with additional mark (likely for city). Hinged egg-shaped box with elaborate cloisonne decoration of a winged dragon, birds, flowers and scrolled foliates with an inset cabochon with a gold-washed interior. Height 4". Note: Ruckert was of German extract, born in Moscow, and worked as a silversmith, making wares he sold himself as well as producing fine cloisonne enamel and silver for Faberge's Moscow branch.
