Black lacquered cocktail or accent table with figural chinoiserie decoration on round top of a woman traveling in a rickshaw pulled by barefoot man waving to a man holding a shaft over his shoulder supporting a knapsack in a landscape with scattered buildings, weeping willow and bird flying overhead. Gilt accents throughout including leaf tips on knees of four legs terminating on gilt accented ball and claw feet. Height 15.75", diameter of top 23". Provenance: From the Collection of Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
