Rim of vessel with additional eye and dart border above olive branch band. Marked on bottom of oval foot. Oval cover with large leaf tip decorated finial (marked on side). Height 13.9", width (across handles) 16.1". Total weight approximately 112.1 troy ounces. Provenance: Sotheby's, New York: Important English and Continental Silver and Silver Gilt, October 21, 1998 as Lot 59 whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
