1965 fused glass, copper 23 w x 30 h in (58 x 76 cm)
Higgins began production on Rondelays in the early 1960s. This new design was marketed as an element for architectural interiors as well as art that could stand alone. Made of multi-colored fused glass disks joined by copper rings, the Rondelays could be produced to any length and were made from several sizes and shapes of glass. This example features 32 discs of similar size in bright colors. Each disc is labeled with three letters indicating the color scheme.
