Wormley was personal friends with Gertrud and Otto Natzler who's work he admired and collected.
In 1956, he designed a line of furniture incorporating their ceramics. This table is a rare example of two separate colored tiles being combined in one piece: a fine crystalline blue and a burnt orange glaze.
