Noguchi's elegant stone, wood and steel sculptures combine Eastern artistic traditions with Western Modernism. In this large work, suitable for use indoors or out, Noguchi has cut out a large biomorphic metal plane into which he has made other cuts and onto which he has added other planes of metal. The effect allows light to play over the forms altering the comnposition at different times of the day.
