Known for his large-scale, outdoor steel sculptures, Di Suvero's work is reminiscent of expressionist and cubist styles rendered in three-dimensions. He has exhibited with Gagosian and Paula Cooper in New York and his work is in numerous public collections including the Walker Art Center and the National Gallery of Art.
