1928 glass, enameled metal 8½ w x 8 h in (22 x 20 cm)
This ceiling lamp was designed in response to a request by Kandem to the Bauhaus to create a ceiling lamp that would prevent the build up of dust in the glass. This elegant solution was used in stairwells, lobbies, museums and hospitals and its simple construction makes it convenient to assemble, mount and use.
