The Piano Lamp was initially designed by Oud as a wedding gift for a friend. The elemental geopetries used in the design illustrate the influence of Bauhaus design principles, in addition to his connection with the DeStijl movement in Holland. This design is in the permenant collection of the Metropolitain Museum of Art in New York.
