"Copernicus" was an exhibition in celebration of the five hundredth anniversary of the astronomer's birth and the third exhibition the Eames Office created for the IBM Corporate Exhibition Center.
This unique mechanical model illustrates Copernicus' most important theory that the sun was the center of the universe, challenging the geocentric model of Ptolemy.
