American, 19th Century. Two pieces of American Brilliant Cut Glass comprised of a compote and dresser box. The compote with notched cut undulating rim, the body with fine intaglio floral design, stem enclosing a tear drop on a wide thick foot with floral intaglio. The hinged silver plate circular dresser box with cut floral pattern on top, sides and bottom. Both apparently unsigned. Height of compote 8.4", diameter of mouth 8.75", diameter foot 5.25". Dresser box height 2.8", width 5.15"._x000D_
