This magnificent set illustrates the high design style of both Ponti and Fornasetti. Fornasetti's blue Madrepore decoration clings to the surfaces of Ponti's expressive forms as if intended by nature. The concave top, carved from solid wood and topped with glass gives the illusion of a tidal pool.
