Harry Burton (English, 1879-1949). A collection of over 100 photographs documenting the excavation of King Tutankhamun's tomb by the famed Metropolitan Museum of Art photographer known mainly for accompanying Howard Carter for eight years during his excavation of the young pharaoh's final resting place in the Valley of the Kings, Egypt.
