In 1946 the young artist, designer and caricaturist Fulvio Bianconi began a relationship with Venini that would last throughout the 1950s. His bold modernist designs such as Pezzato , Macchie and Fasce Orizzontali have become famous worldwide and are rightly considered emblems of both post-war Murano glass and 20th century design.
