Powell/Kleinschmidt adapted these chairs in characteristic fashion by enriching the surface with leathers, and covering the seat in a fabric more comfortable for sitting than the original.
These examples feature a tightly woven silk with the look of linen that was sourced from Powell’s friend Jack Lenor Larsen.
