Chinese carved white to light green jade necklace pendant brooch in the form of a pierced oblong amulet with square hole at center flanked by marks. Top with winged bat representing prosperity with arabesques at bottom. Carved jade with gilt metal mount (unmarked) with eight red oval rubies and two small round sapphires. Pendant with hook on back for suspending from necklace as well as pin back to use as lapel pin. Brooch measures approximately 3” x 2.4”. Total weight approximately 44.3 grams.
