19th century. Straight grain mahogany pembroke table with satinwood and ebonized inlay work throughout in border or framed motif throughout. Two small pull out drawers on each side with round brass pulls. Raised on tapered inlaid legs on small wheeled casters. Height 27.25", width 20.125", depth 25.4". Each leaf approximately 9.75". Provenance: John Gibson, Charleston, South Carolina whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia in 1998.
