Circa 1900. Pair of Sheraton mahogany wood pole screens with shield form on shaft hand painted with figural decoration (one with young man dancing, the other with young woman on a swing). Both surrounded by floral border. Shaft turned urn form above tripod base with three thin cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. Height (to top of urn form finial) 57.5". Provenance: Church Street Galleries, Charleston, South Carolina whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia in 1998.
