Empire table with white square marble top top with canted corners above bronze ormolu metal mounts on apron of mahogany wood frame in the form of rosettes and scrolled accents above ebonized and gilt band. Table with four winged harpie figures raised on horn shaped ebonized shaft on foliate decorated lion's paw feet resting on cross stretcher shelf above large gilt acanthus leaf knees terminating on ebonized paw feet. Signed in four corners of frame "H. LANNUIER NEW YORK" under white marble top. Underneath with label from Sotheby's. Height 33" x 32.5" square. Provenance: Acquired from Sotheby's, New York in late 1990s by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
