Pair of fine Regency giltwood and part ebonized convex girandole mirrors. Ornate and well executed gilt wood mirrors with circular convex looking glass within gilt wood frame with black beaded banding. Two thin leaf accented serpentine candlestick arms stemming from each side. Bottom of frame with entwined scaled dolphins. Top surmounted with large leaves flanking black feathered eagle with ball in claw with snake mouth a top a leaf decorated base. Mirrors measures approximately 50" x 32". Provenance: Sotheby's New York: Important English Furniture & European Ceramics, October 23, 1998 as Lot 400 whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
