Early 19th century. Regency ebonized and parcel gilt music stand with two brass candle holders on adjustable metal mounts. Music stand hand painted with gilt florals and supported on brass metal mount above turned wood shaft with gilt banding and acanthus leaf motif raised on a tripod base with additional gilt floral ornamentation. Height 43.2", width (across candle arms when pulled in) 19.75", depth 19". Provenance: The Ira and Nancy Koger Collection handled at auction by Sotheby's whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia in 1998.
