Empire mahogany settee featuring a tubbed back rest terminating with decorative scroll work ends sweeping down to gilded ram horns, flanking both sides of the upholstered seat, all atop solid mahogany saber legs; decorative brass floral embellishments to back rest, seat skirt and front legs; by repute this settee was once housed at Monticello, the Levy Period; measures approximately 32-1/2" tall to top of back, 17" tall to top of seat, 48" wide, and 24" deep; in Fair condition with age appropriate wear.
