William Kitchens large abstract oil on canvas depicting an array of amorphous square-like shapes in varying earth tones and teals; marked to back "William Kitchens Untitled"; measures approximately 49" x 64-1/4" with wooden frame and has a sight image of approximately 45-/12" x 61". William Kitchens (born 1951) has exhibited his work nationally and internationally in numerous juried and one-person exhibitions since 1980. He is the recipient of the 1987 Louisiana Division of the Arts Fellowship. He has participated in many artist/printmaker collaborations and is an active member of The Los Angeles Printmaking Society, The Boston Printmakers, and The Print Consortium. Some of his work is housed in The Smithsonian American Art Museum.
