Larry Edwardson oil on board "Gloucester Harbor"; depicting boats in a harbor, one named "Leonard & Nancy" and one named "Philip & Grace"; titled and signed to back as well as signed "Edwardson" to bottom left corner of front; unframed; measures approximately 16" x 18"; in Very Good condition. Laurence Christie Edwardson was born in Waltham, Massachusetts in 1904 and lived part of his life in Kensington, Connecticut. Much of his painting career was spent in New England and New Orleans, Louisiana. His work includes many Louisiana landscapes, portraits and religious subjects; and one of his modernist works is in the Historic New Orleans Collection.
