Papier mache tray with black lacquered and polychromed hand painted decoration of a Classical scene depicting Greek goddess Aurora in her winged horse drawn wheeled chariot racing across the sky illustrated by dark overcast foreboding clouds. Tray unsigned. Tray with fitted rectangular glass top insert with rounded edges and raised on later black wood faux bamboo stand. Stand with marked with symbols on top. Tray height 1.6 inches, width 28.5 inches, depth 20.75 inches. Overall height (on stand) 19 inches, width 28.5 inches, depth 20.75 inches.
