Turn of the 19th century bowl back mandolin marked to inside "Guaranteed Perfect Scale Victoria Best American Make B. & J. New York"; rosewood with string inlaid geometric accents to front edging and encircling sound hole, maple inlays in between ribs to back, and decorative celluloid pick guard; twelve tuners but only places for eight strings; measures approximately 25-3/4" long, 8-1/4" wide to body, and 6" deep; missing bridge and in Fair condition with age appropriate wear; includes a red faux fur lined black leather hard case.
