Frankart (American 1920s-1930s), No. L227. Original Frankart figural lamp depicting a young nude dancer with her knee bent and raised, arms pulled back and head tilted and turned over her shoulder. Female nude silhouetted by the frosted glass pane behind her that diffuses the light emitted from the lamp hidden behind. Figure at full length and standing on a stepped Art Deco base. Figure, base and light shaft in Roman Green finish. Height 11.5". Marked on back "FRANKART INC. PAT APPLD FOR". Lamp published in Frankart 1930-1931 catalog, p. 22, fig. L227.
