Frankart (American 1920s-1930s), No. L263. Original Frankart figural globe lamp depicting two young female beauties kneeling with arms extended in an elegant gesture of support or embrace surrounding a large textured yellow to golden glass orb that diffuses light from the electified lamp within. Figures and glass shade raised on a stepped Art Deco base and in gunmetal finish. Marked on edge of base "FRANKART INC. PAT. DES. 80153. Height 9.125". Lamp published in Frankart 1930-1931 catalog, p. 15, fig. L230.
