Book one is of multiple client records dated from Nov. 1, 1869. Book two has a label to the front cover: "Bailey & Noyes Booksellers, Stationers, and Blank Book Manufacturers. Portland, ME." and is dated from Nov. 15, 1870. Book three has a label to the inside front cover: "Dresser, McLellan, & Co. Publishers, Wholesale Booksellers, Stationers, & Blank Book Manufacturers, Portland" and is dated from January 4, 1860. Book four also has a "Bailey & Noyes" label to the inside cover and is dated from July 15, 1876. Book five is a sueded leather-bound volume inscribed to its' beginning "Palmyra January 30, 1826".
