American (likely New York), 19th century. Empire (circa 1820) pink marble top above out curved frieze form apron over a framed mirror at back which reflects the curved lower shelf flanked at front by two columns with brass capitals and base decorated with ornate die-stamped patterns. Table with carved acanthus feet. Height 37.6", width 42.5", depth 17.5". Provenance: Estate Antiques, Charleston, South Carolina whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia in 1998.
