Americanz (likely Boston), 19th century (circa 1815). Square card mahogany card table with canted corners and swivel fold top. Figured mahogany skirt with finely rendered brass metal mounts of flowers, cornucopias and leaves above four reeded columnar legs raised on bracket supports connected with elliptical cross stretcher and terminating on four brass capped lion's paws on wheeled casters. Height 29.2", width 36", depth 18.1". Provenance: Church Street Galleries, Charleston, South Carolina whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia in 1998.
