Charles (American, 1907-1978) and Ray Eames (American, 1912–1988) for Herman Miller mid century modern ESU 200-N, circa 1950, with rectangular top above three black painted front pull out drawers in upper left, shelf storage in remaining three quadrants supported on black painted metal frame with stretcher shelf. Back with different colored panels, open upper right, white, grey and red laminate panels on sides, open on right side. Retains original Herman Miller label on interior of lowest drawer. Approximate height 32.5", width 47", depth 16". Note: This early example is rather rare and is one of the earliest configurations with wire drawer pulls and wire framed drawers.
